The team uses the best techniques in evidence-based medicine to improve outcomes and help patients reach their goals faster. We achieve this by using advanced therapeutic exercise combined with manual interventions like dry needling, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, sports cupping, and massage.
In contrast to other physical therapy practices, we limit the amounts of patients a physical therapist can see. As a patient, you get direct attention and a personalized plan of care from one of our top physical therapists.
Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT)
Dr. Brucker earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) at the University of New England in 2018. Prior to joining Ascent, he was a physical therapist specializing in the management of sports rehabilitation, post surgical progression, and functional mobility throughout the Denver Metro area. Dr. Brucker takes an individualized approach to each patient synthesizing a specific plan towards their goals. He emphasizes the importance of altering pain and dysfunction through dry needling and manual therapy techniques, complemented by specific movement patterns to maximize patient outcomes. Whether your goals are to return to the playing field, recover from surgery, or enjoy what Colorado has to offer, Dr. Brucker will work with you to accomplish your goals.
Dr. Brucker is a former Division II collegiate football player which sparked his interest in not only rehab but performance as well. He enjoys an active lifestyle of weight training, skiing, outdoor activities, and enjoying time with family and friends.
If you’re looking for the best physical therapy services and treatments in the Denver and Littleton area, you’ve come to the right place. Our comprehensive evaluations, including functional movement screens, help us not only treat your injury but find the root cause for why the injury occurred.
Pain Relief for Chronic Conditions
Frustrated at your lack of progress from a chronic injury and tired of doing the same thing over and over? Ascent Therapy Clinic offers a vast array of treatments and services that can help. Our individualized plans and treatments will be updated and progressed as your condition improves!
Dry Needling is an invasive technique approved for use by physical therapists to treat various types of pain and conditions. A small needle is used to create a chemical response in the injured or affected tissue, then either manually or electrically stimulated to get the desired tissue response. Our experts at Ascent Therapy combine a multitude of dry needling approaches to get results that others don’t.
Blood Flow Restriction Therapy
A new evidence-based treatment involves short bouts of light strengthening exercises while blood flow is being partially blocked to that affected limb. This treatment allows an individual to make substantial muscle gains while not putting unwanted or painful pressure through a joint or injured ligament.
